Nominations open for the 2025 Dove Award

Nominate a Local 002 woman who goes above and beyond - Here’s your opportunity to shine a light on her incredible contributions and accomplishments!  

Nominations are now open for the 2025 Dove Award.

Members can use the DOVE (Day of Validation and Equity) Award to recognize the work of their coworkers as activists, stewards, worksite contacts, and spokespeople for the union movement.  

Find women around your worksite, Chapter, and Local whose outstanding union work contributes to the betterment of women and all members of our union. You can nominate any woman who is a regular member of AUPE in good standing, except for members of the current Women’s Committee.

The deadline to submit a nomination form is Thursday, Feb. 20, 2025, at 12 pm.

The 2025 Dove Award winner will be recognized at the AUPE Women’s Committee’s annual International Women’s Day celebration in March 2025.
